Preference should be given to parking at guarded car parks. Make sure that the car is locked and do not leave any valuable objects visible.
Parking Zones in the City Center
The center of Prague district is divided into 3 parking zones - orange, green and blue.
The Orange Zone
Maximum time of parking is 2 hours. Charges: 40,- CZK per hour, 20,- CZK per 30 minutes (the minimum time 30 minutes). Zone is effective from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The Green Zone
Maximum time of parking 6 hours. Charges: 30,- CZK per hour, 15,- CZK per 30 minutes.
Zone is effective from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. (Monday - Friday)
Both zones are equipped with coin-operated parking meters for coins of 1, 2, 5, 10, 20 or 50,- CZK. Operating instructions are attached to the parking meters.
The Blue Zone
Long-term parking zone is designed exclusively for residents of Prague or companies based in this district. Only vehicles with a parking card can park there.
P+R (Park & Ride)
The P+R parking places enable to leave your car at the outskirts of Prague and take the city public transport (underground - Metro) to the centre. These parking places are guarded and the fee is only 20,- CZK for the whole parking time. The parking is opened from 4 a.m. to 1 a.m. of the following day. The users of parking have to pay 100,- CZK for the night. The users of parking can buy a ticket for city public transport at the advantageous price of 40,- CZK for a transfer return ticket and 80,- CZK for a day-ticket.
